style=\"font-weight: 400\">Redactamos <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">mensajes <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">de <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">WhatsApp<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">de <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">correo<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">escribimos <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">en <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Twitter<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">&#8230; <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Y <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">paseamos <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">por <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">esa <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">calle <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">de <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">multitudes <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">vestidos <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">solamente <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">con nuestra <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">ortograf\u00eda <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">y <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">nuestra <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">sintaxis<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">As\u00ed <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">nos <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">mostramos <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">a <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">los <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">dem\u00e1s<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">que se <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">formar\u00e1n <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">una <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">opini\u00f3n <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">al <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">respecto <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">del mismo <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">modo <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">que <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">se <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">establece <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">una <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">impresi\u00f3n <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">general <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">ante quien <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">lleva siempre <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">lamparones <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">en <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">el <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">traje<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>En definitiva, la ortograf\u00eda es sobre todo un indicio. Se supone que quien escribe con correcci\u00f3n ha le\u00eddo y ha incorporado a su pensamiento una estructura gramatical que le permite ordenar mejor las ideas y analizar con m\u00e1s competencia tanto lo que oye como lo que piensa. La buena ortograf\u00eda ayuda adem\u00e1s a relacionar unos vocablos con otros (y tambi\u00e9n a distinguir unos conceptos de otros).<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Por <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">el <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">contrario<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">cabe <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">suponer <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">que <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">quien <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">comete <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">faltas <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">de ortograf\u00eda <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">no <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">dispone <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">de <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">esas <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">herramientas<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">; <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">que tal <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">vez <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">disfrute <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">as\u00ed <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">de <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">menor capacidad <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">para la <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">argumentaci\u00f3n <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">y <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">la <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">seducci\u00f3n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">y <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">que <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">probablemente <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">sea<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">por <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">todo <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">ello<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">una <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">persona <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">m\u00e1s <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">manipulable<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00c1lex <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Grijelmo<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, <\/span><\/i><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">El <\/span><\/i><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Pa\u00eds<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><strong>PROPUESTA 2:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><b><i>\u2026Que el mundo se va a acabar<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Algunas palabras o expresiones circulan a hurtadillas, porque se consideran soeces o poco elegantes. Hallamos abundantes ejemplos en los t\u00e9rminos vulgares de connotaci\u00f3n sexual, que solamente se usan con toma de conciencia previa acerca del auditorio que cada cual tenga.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">As\u00ed, ser\u00eda chocante que una actriz dijera en una rueda de prensa: \u00abA mi novio me lo tir\u00e9 por primera vez al terminar un rodaje\u00bb. Tampoco una nota policial informar\u00eda de que una persona rob\u00f3 a otra \u00abtras hab\u00e9rsela cepillado\u00bb; o \u00abtras haberle echado un kiki\u00bb (del ingl\u00e9s quickie: \u00abrapidito\u00bb; o sea, aqu\u00ed te pillo aqu\u00ed te mato. En ese caso, aqu\u00ed te pillo aqu\u00ed te robo).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">A veces esas expresiones circulan tanto que comienzan a salir de los \u00e1mbitos confianzudos; a continuaci\u00f3n algunas personas relevantes las usan en p\u00fablico, y a partir de ah\u00ed se escapan de los c\u00edrculos populares para pasar incluso a la lengua cultivada.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Eso parece estar sucediendo con el verbo \u00abfollar\u00bb.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">El banco de datos acad\u00e9mico nos muestra 0,42 casos por mill\u00f3n de palabras en el siglo XVIII, 0,70 en el XIX y 5,06 en el XXI. No s\u00e9 si su pr\u00e1ctica real habr\u00e1 aumentado tanto. Pero quiz\u00e1s la consagraci\u00f3n estelar del verbo ocurri\u00f3 en la gala de los premios\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Goya, el 11 de febrero. En ella, el actor Telmo Irre-ta dijo refiri\u00e9ndose a las personas con alguna discapacidad: \u00abNosotros tambi\u00e9n follamos\u00bb. No eligi\u00f3\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00abechamos polvos\u00bb, o \u00abchingamos\u00bb, o \u00abjodemos\u00bb. \u00bfPor A169 Tal son\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">parane \u00abfollar\u00bb se ha constituido va en\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">sos por mill\u00f3n de palabras en el siglo A VI, 0,0 en el XIX y 5,06 en el XXI. No s\u00e9 si su pr\u00e1ctica real habr\u00e1 aumentado tanto. Pero quiz\u00e1s la consagraci\u00f3n estelar del verbo ocurri\u00f3 en la gala de los premios Goya, el 11 de febrero. Tal vez porque \u00abfollar\u00bb se ha constituido ya en el menos clandestino de los vocablos sospechosos que refieren esa acci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ese verbo ha sido impreso en numerosas ocasiones en\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><em>EL PA\u00cdS<\/em>, pero en los entrecomillados. Por ejemplo, en octubre de 2022 al reproducirse se ha constilas palabras que el periodista Jes\u00fas Quintero hab\u00eda enviado a el menos sus amigos poco antes de morir:\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00abHay que leer m\u00e1s putos libros, no de los vivir sin miedo y follar m\u00e1s\u00bb. O al recogerse unas frases de la directora teatral Carme Portaceli, cuando hablaba que refieren del personaje de Emma Bovary:\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00abLo ha intentado todo para ser feliz: ir de compras y follar\u00bb.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Pero de pronto ese verbo ha ascendido un pelda\u00f1o. Ya no se trata de citas textuales sino de su uso con toda naturalidad en tres art\u00edculos recientes de este diario. El 11 de noviembre y el 10 de marzo pasados,\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">con la firma de Najat el Hachmi: \u00abNadie tendr\u00eda que follar si no lo desea\u00bb. \u00abLo que nos toca aqu\u00ed es analizar por qu\u00e9 las mujeres preferimos follar con otro ser humano que masturbarnos con un objeto a bater\u00eda\u00bb.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Y el 4 de abril, por la investigadora Amanda Mauri (escrib\u00eda tres veces \u00abfollar\u00bb, y reproduc\u00eda dos \u00abfollamos\u00bb, adem\u00e1s de \u00abinfollabilidad\u00bb y \u00abfollabilidad*).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Me dio la impresi\u00f3n de que esos ejemplos (y otros habr\u00e1 que se me escapan) aportan un indicio sobre el paso de ese verbo en Espa\u00f1a desde lo s\u00f3rdido a lo sonoro. Y de que tal tr\u00e1nsito implicar\u00e1 cierta derivada, porque quiz\u00e1s arrincone a los anglicismos\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00abhacer el amor\u00bb (que antes signific\u00f3 \u00abgalantear\u00bb o \u00abcortejar\u00bb) y \u00abtener sexo\u00bb (salvo accidente natural o fisi-co, todo el mundo lo tiene de nacimiento). Tambi\u00e9n puede sustituir con ventaja al polis\u00e9mico \u00abacostarse\u00bb v a expresiones hoy cursis como \u00abpracticar el coito\u00bb,\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00abcoitar\u00bb o \u00abcopular\u00bb; y a las m\u00e1s arcaicas \u00abayuntarse\u00bb o \u00abfornicar\u00bb; as\u00ed como a otras soeces que rio mencionaremos en este tramo horario.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00abFollar\u00bb viene de \u00abfuelle\u00bb. La asociaci\u00f3n ac\u00fastica entre ambas ideas produc\u00eda antes a los o\u00eddos sensibles cierto incomodo, hoy superado.
