Nowadays, most of our teaching responsibilities go through a browser window—preparing lessons, finding resources, managing digital platforms, and assessing students.

Why are extensions so important?

Browser extensions transform a basic browser into a real professional tool. Just like in a workshop you need more than one screwdriver, in the digital world many tasks become slow, repetitive, or cumbersome without the right tools.

🔹 To organize information
Bookmark managers or web clippers help us collect, sort, and archive useful resources, allowing us to quickly save ideas for future units or share materials with other teachers.

🔹 To prepare teaching materials efficiently
Screenshots, text grabbers, reading simplifiers, and citation generators help turn online content into ready-to-use classroom activities in seconds.

🔹 To improve communication with students and families
Tools like autofill, pre-saved signatures, or extensions that log responses make admin tasks far lighter—saving time on emails, forms, and school platforms.

🔹 To personalize learning
Read-aloud tools, dyslexia-friendly fonts, or reading simplification add-ons make it easy to adapt materials for diverse learners—something nearly impossible without extra help.

🔹 To protect privacy and security
Password managers, tracker blockers, and safe-browser alerts help keep our data and—more importantly—our students’ data safe.

In short

The school devices work well, but the difference between merely browsing and working effectively lies in the tools we add. Making a small, curated set of useful extensions available to teachers isn’t a technological luxury:
it means saving time, reducing frustration, and directly improving the quality of teaching.

The fewer digital barriers we face, the more energy we can dedicate to what truly matters: teaching, supporting, and creating meaningful learning experiences.

NOW IT’S WORKING TIME !!!!

Twittear

Over the past few weeks, several colleagues at the school have shared a clear concern: the browser we use in class, just as it comes “out of the box,” isn’t…

{"_s2mail":"yes

1

post-1936","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-android
["GET
