If I were to ask you about file storage services in the cloud, probably <\/span>the first names that come to mind are platforms like Mega, Google Drive, OneDrive or Dropbox<\/strong> . All of them have free plans, which can help you at any given time to keep a handful of backup copies or to have some valuable documents or photos close at hand on any device <\/span>but that <\/span>are clearly insufficient when it comes to using them as true hard drives in the cloud<\/strong>\u00a0.\u00a0Mega, for example, offers us 20 GB of space (but limiting the use of bandwidth) and Google Drive, 15 GB (but sharing space with GMail and Google Photos).\u00a0If we need more capacity,\u00a0<\/span>we can pay, of course<\/a>\u00a0, but that is not an option that is in the hands of any user.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The name of this new competitor in the cloud hosting sector is\u00a0<\/span>TeraBox<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0, it belongs to a branch of Baidu (the ‘Chinese Google’) and it is a platform\u00a0<\/span>available on the web<\/span><\/a>\u00a0, but it also offers applications that we can install on\u00a0<\/span>Windows, Android and iOS<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0, which makes it easy to save our backups.<\/span><\/p>\n

1 TB (1024 GB) is enough to “store 400,000 photos or 51,200 1-minute videos”, according to the TeraBox website itself.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

One of its great attractions is that it\u00a0<\/span>allows you to view, in the application itself, our video files with HD quality<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0.\u00a0Of course, the audio, photos and PDFs also have a preview.\u00a0And, like all its competitors, it also allows us to easily share files with third parties.<\/span><\/p>\n
