js-post-images-container\">\n<p><span>Wireless connectivity is a tool that offers us multiple advantages.\u00a0Having\u00a0<\/span><span>Internet at home anywhere<\/span><span>\u00a0without having to depend on always unsightly and uncomfortable wiring is a blessing that, however, is not without its problems.\u00a0And\u00a0<\/span><strong><span>the biggest drawback we can find is related to coverage<\/span><\/strong><span>\u00a0.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>It is very common for us to find blind spots in homes where we do not have Wi-Fi coverage or to which it reaches very poorly.\u00a0It is not necessary that the floor be very large and if, for example, in between we have different partitions or walls through which pipes circulate, connection problems are guaranteed.\u00a0And that is\u00a0<\/span><strong><span>something that we can remedy without spending a euro with an app and an old mobile<\/span><\/strong><span>\u00a0that we have at home.<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"sm-reference\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h2><span>It&#8217;s not an old mobile, it&#8217;s a Wi-Fi amplifier<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"article-asset-image that\u00a0<\/span><strong><span>we can take advantage of any old Android mobile<\/span><\/strong><span>\u00a0that we have at home to use it as a Wi-Fi amplifier, and that in this way the signal can reach any point of home.\u00a0In addition, we can place the mobile in the most appropriate place at all times, without depending on nearby plugs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>It is about\u00a0<\/span><strong><span>not having to go through the box and buy an accessory or<\/span><\/strong><span>\u00a0complementary device, such as a router, a Wi-Fi repeater or a\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.xatakahome.com\/guia-de-compra\/mejorando-wifi-casa-adaptadores-plc-ventajas-inconvenientes-modelos-recomendados\"><span>PLC<\/span><\/a><span>\u00a0.\u00a0In fact, at home I am testing the\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.xatakamovil.com\/xiaomi\/xiaomi-ax3600-nuevo-router-wi-fi-6-especializado-iot-soporte-para-248-dispositivos-a-vez\"><span>Xiaomi AX3600<\/span><\/a><span>\u00a0router to improve the network and for now the results are more than debatable.\u00a0And with the mobile, we can get out of trouble and also for free.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"article-asset-video article-asset-normal\">\n<div class=\"asset-content\">\n<div class=\"base-asset-video\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span>It is about\u00a0<\/span><strong><span>turning the mobile into a Wi-Fi amplifier<\/span><\/strong><span>\u00a0and we can do this with a free application that we find in the Google Play Store.\u00a0It is called NetShare and can be downloaded from\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=kha.prog.mikrotik\"><span>this link<\/span><\/a><span>\u00a0.\u00a0There is a paid version, with the free one we have more than enough to improve Wi-Fi coverage at home.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"article-asset article-asset-normal article-asset-center\">\n<div class=\"desvio-container\">\n<div class=\"desvio\">\n<div class=\"desvio-figure js-desvio-figure\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.xatakahome.com\/la-red-local\/wifi-2-4-ghz-5-ghz-aclaramos-sus-diferencias-que-dispositivos-ideales-para-cada\"><img decoding=\"async\" installed, you just have to click on the button with the text\u00a0<\/span><strong><span>&#8220;Start WiFi Hotspot&#8221;<\/span><\/strong><span>\u00a0(to stop at &#8220;Stop WiFi Hotspot&#8221;) and in this way, our mobile starts working as a Wi-Fi amplifier.<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"article-asset-image article-asset-normal\">\n<div class=\"asset-content\">\n<div configured the app to our liking, it is time to connect with another device to that network that we have created, for this\u00a0<\/span><strong><span>we must change some parameters<\/span><\/strong><span>\u00a0, since it will not be enough to just press the Wi-Fi network. Fi and enter the password.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"article-asset-image article-asset-normal\">\n<div class=\"asset-content\">\n<div class=\"base-wrapper-image\"><img tests I have used an iPhone, and in it I had to go into the advanced settings of the network to which I want to connect and enter the\u00a0<\/span><strong><span>password of said network, the proxy and the port<\/span><\/strong><span>\u00a0:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><span>Password<\/span><\/strong><span>\u00a0: you must enter the one you configured (or the one that comes by default) and that appears under the name in the NetShare app.\u00a0Continuing with our example, it would be &#8220;87654321&#8221;.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong><span>Proxy<\/span><\/strong><span>\u00a0: you have to use the manual option and enter the value that appears in the app as an IP in Address.\u00a0In this case it is &#8220;192.168.49.1.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong><span>Port<\/span><\/strong><span>\u00a0: you have to put the value that appears as Port, in this case, &#8220;8282&#8221;.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span>With all these data steps,\u00a0<\/span><strong><span>we already have our old Android mobile working as a Wi-Fi amplifier<\/span><\/strong><span>\u00a0.\u00a0Now all that remains is to place it in the most appropriate place so that the Wi-Fi network can take us to full coverage and in this way can offer a connection to other devices.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>There are only two precautions to be taken when using this system.\u00a0The first is that\u00a0<\/span><strong><span>the application must always be open<\/span><\/strong><span>\u00a0, regardless of whether the phone is locked.\u00a0In addition, we must\u00a0<\/span><strong><span>take into account the state of the mobile&#8217;s battery<\/span><\/strong><span>\u00a0and if it does not last long, we must have a plug nearby to be able to plug in the smartphone so that it does not run out of battery at the least
