Music and Human Rights
Irene, Nira and Sara wrote vehemently about Civil Rights and the making of this unforgettable song.
You just can’t miss it!
Mario and Javier Pardo also wrote about this song.
In previous posts, during the first term, we were able to read the songs with assorted activities, all created by our students in 3*:
The Sounds of Silence by Lara, Lucìa and Raquel.
Happy Xmas. War is Over by Estela and Izarbe.
Blowing in the Wind by Juanjo and Julio.
COMING SOON…
Redemption Songs by Oscar and Nacho.
Buffalo Soldier by Àlvaro and Ares.
Plus…… Just wait and see….
Bob Dylan
No exercises for this song: just listening to the lyrics and understanding the story is hard enough…
The Sounds of Silence
Blowin’ In The Wind
A series of songs from the past century, showing the power of music in order to promote changes in an ever unfair society.
Students in 3rd ESO worked on them just before the holidays. Trying to avoid the comercial fuss around this festivity, this is also a way to wish you a Merry Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Autumn Leaves
The Colours of Autumn, as seen from the bus-window after our wonderful school-trip in Echo Valley.
Here are some pictures and activities to learn the vocabulary we are dealing with in the Biodiversity Project. This time, in Autumn, we went to the forests and each student had to work with one specific tree; most of them are represented in these lovely activities and if you like the topic, you can find more information in the wonderful page: Nature Detectives. Enjoy! Seguir leyendo Autumn Leaves
My Funny Valentine
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ddGkBXrCME
My Funny Valentine,
Sweet comic Valentine,
You make me smile with my heart…
Your looks are laughable,
Un-photographable
Yet, you’re my favorite work of art!
Is your figure less than Greek?
Is your mouth a little weak?
When you open it to speak,
Are you smart?
But don’t change a hair for me,
Not if you care for me:
Stay little Valentine, stay!
Each day is Valentine´s Day.
